AJ | Dark, dense black-red. Clean and fresh, though not a lot of aromatic drive and density. Perhaps it is biding its time. Juicy and forceful on the palate; concentrated as always in this vintage. MS | Closed, quite fine, a hint of noble herbal character, persistent, fresh in impression, a light blackcurrant fruit emerging; elegantly balanced medium full, fresh in acidity, finely dry in tannin; a fine, light, gently gravel imbued flavour, restrained, Margauxesque, with an attractive core fruit and good length; fine, discreet, elegant Senéjac.
