SF | A hint of development in the rim( garnet) and an aromatic reticence at first which only gradually concedes a whiff of petrichor and jasmine. Medocian Cabernet writ large therefore, distinctive and reassuring. The tannins unfurl discreetly, bolstered by firm acidity and a pleasing aromatic assonance on the finish. 89
AJ | Dark, dense black-red. Fresh, with some herbaceous notes. Sweet-toned nonetheless; violets too. Concentrated, almost dramatic; piercing and challenging. Another classicist's choice. On the lean side; on the cusp of green; but the sweet-toned floral side of its personality wins out at the end. A fresh, gastronomic wine for the decade ahead.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2035.
