AJ | Deep, clear black-red; handsome. A little dry-fruited in aroma: dried cherry and cranberry. The fruits are sweetly ripe but this has a little less freshness and dimension than most, aromatically speaking. It's a little softer and dryer than most on the palate, too. Very accessible -- yet not unstructured. It's really the lack of wealth and breadth to the fruit that holds it back a bit.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2032. 88
BB | Garnet to pink. Closed, touch dusty, black and red fruits, crushed stones, earthy, Morello cherries nose. Full body with layered black fruits, fine tannins and long, complex, earthy finish. A muscular wine for the cellarDrink Dates: 2030 - 2040. 93
MP | Attractive, delicate, subtle nose with rose petal, red currant, strawberry, red cherry, red plum, Turkish delight and baking spice. The palate has wonderful length and the high alcohol is kept in check by the acidity and tannins. The fruit powers through on a long and sublimely elegant finish.
