Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth with turn on the rim. Quite expressive aromatically, small black fruits and sotto bosco. On the palate, the acidity at first seems sharp, the tannins a mite tough. But whereas it’s not a wine for early drinking, it should age well. Drink from 2019. 89
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to pink. Closed, restrained, small red-fruits nose with intriguing complexity, mineral with hints of menthol. Complex, refined palate, with forest fruits and a long, clean, aromatic finish. Definitely a wine to watch improving with age. 90
Andrew Jefford: Deep, clear black-red. A balanced, settled, and harmonious aromatic profile: leaves and roots, as well as dry red fruits. Smooth, long, tangy, savory, almost saline, with lots more of those leaves and roots. An excellent and very classical wine, with lots of rich, almost austere, secondary satisfaction and a rounded, beveled quality. 90
