BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium, with some oranging on the rim. Herby, minty notes on the nose; fresh and inviting. Quite a mouthful of lively, tangy fruit, has acid verve and well developed tannins. A touch of bitterness on the finish, which is of medium length and complexity. Drink from 2017. 88

Bruno Besa: Garnet to pink, tawny. Delicate and refined small red-fruit nose, with cedar wood, forest undergrowth. Mineral and elegant. A balanced, inviting palate, with layered, elegant fruit. Very long and clean. A class act. 92

Andrew Jefford: Clear deep red. Dry, herbal, underbrush scents of some refinement; just a touch of grass. A savory note, too, and some honey and resin. Graceful, intriguing, finely honed aromatic profile. Smooth, deep, and engaging palate of great harmony and depth and exactly the flavor profile the nose sketched out. By no means a showy wine, but a finely crafted and satisfying one: wholly recommended. Lovely finishing tannins. 88
