Stephen Brook: Delicate nose: ripe limes, mango. Lean, silky, precise; has purity but is somehow not that interesting. Entirely correct in its winemaking but lacks some edge and complexity. Because all the components seem in place, including attractive if not overwhelming acidity on the finish, it should develop well and show more character in 5–8 years’ time, I suspect. 17

Margaret Rand: Intense, sparky wine, silky and glossy and complex. Fine and long—young and tight still; vigorous and taut. 17.5

Jancis Robinson: Sweet and syrupy, with blossomy notes verging on elderflowers. Complete and already quite integrated. Satin-smooth texture. Somehow the floral notes manage to struggle out from all that sugar to assert themselves. A very pretty wine, though not staggeringly sweet. Drink 2010–18. 17.5
