BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Deep, dense color. Concentrated. Rich, oaky nose, but lots of stuffing too. Very modern style, picked late, with a touch of currant, higher alcohol, lots of oak. Firmish finish, but lots of vanilla oak, muscular tannins, and good structure. Still a baby. Worth cellaring. Priorato style. Modern. 16.5

Jesús Barquín: Very deep cherry with a ruby rim. A wine of apparently modern design but evidently evolving toward more classic parameters: fresh, with elegant if somewhat bold tannin, a nicely integrated creamy note, fleshy and long. Modern. 17.5

Marcel Orford-Williams: The nose is closed but even now has sweetness. Quite full and spicy. Rich and quite complex, with a good finish. Still evolving. New-style. 16
