BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Slightly dull red/ruby. Very youthful nose, dominated by Tempranillo. Almost a carbonic maceration note to this, even at this age. Soft, supple, cherry and raspberry fruit, good acidity, low-level oak, firmish tannins. A wine that builds on the palate, with attractive vanilla spice and raspberry fruit. Good tannins. Modern. 17.5

Jesús Barquín: Very deep cherry. Creamy notes and mint licorice dominate the nose, while the palate offers mellow tannins and flavors of blackberries and licorice. Enjoyable, though I miss a little extra kick. Modern. 16.5

Marcel Orford-Williams: Deep color. Full and rich. Austere, baked, still tannic. Good middle and length. Still young and evolving. Alcohol seems high. New-style. 14.5
