Alison Buchanan: Bright and enticing, this presents a lively nose, rich in gooseberries, cream and some biscuit notes. The palate is ripe but not overblown, with good acidity and a mineral focus that gives direction. Nicely weighted, of rather easy virtue. The finish is long and mineral. 14.5

Alex Hunt: Though there is some peachy ripeness on the nose, there remains a leafiness that suggests the vines aren’t completely under control. The palate lacks some substance and depth. 13

Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Sweet, teasing woodland scents, with a little bluebell amid all the fluttering leaves. Pretty if evanescent. Incisive, crisp and fresh: a splash of flavor. Slightly short and constrained, with these imperfections becoming accentuated in the finish. Nonetheless a wholly enjoyable drink. 11.5
