BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage: Col code 2. Pungent, almost cheesy bouquet. Better palate than nose suggests with salty, minerally characteristics coming out, good acidity, medium-length finish. But the wine is let down by the nose. 13

Michael Edwards: A gentle pleasant wine, ripe but not oversweet against a backcloth of steadying “matt” acidity. Good balance rather than great character. 15

Franco Ziliani: Golden pale bright color. Very elegant almost “creamy” bouquet with ripe fruit, candy citrus, some roses, and almond, large but still very fresh and appealing. Good length on the palate, with consistent, large luscious fruit with citrus notes on the finish. Crisp acidity, a good mineral, salty character, a long finish. 16.5
