Bruno Besa: Garnet to pink. Clean, youthful, ripe red-fruit nose, with a complex, meaty, earthy character. Medium to full body, balanced on the palate, with very fine tannins, clean raspberries, and sour cherries, then a long, mineral finish. 94

Andrew Jefford: Light, clear, and translucent. Fresh, sweet, graceful, and enticing: a lovely assemblage of scents. Pretty and hard to resist. Bright and lifted, but a little dry and percussive on the palate, lacking the resource of which these soils are capable. A disappointment after the encouraging aromas. 84

Michael Palij: Simple nose with very obvious candied black fruit and dusty tannins from extended maturation in oak. This wine lacks both focus and concentration of fruit, with a simple finish and an unpleasant astringency that detracts from its overall pleasure. 86
