Essi Avellan: Lemon color. Sweetly fruity strawberry nose with candy tones. Fleshy and round body, with a soft mousse. Rather straightforward but clean and enjoyable. Starting to develop some autumnal notes in the glass. Drink sooner rather than later. 89
Simon Field: Pocket-watch hue, iridescent, with playful bubbles, which persist in the glass. The nose is attractive, red fruits leading the charge, but fully supportive voices of honeysuckle and verbena; the sweet cadenza maybe just a notch too sweet for this taster. Quite phenolic on the finish, the wine maybe more promising than it turns out to be… 88
Anthony Rose: Mid-gold in color, this is fresh and bright, with a hint of autolytic vanilla and nut, and that’s followed by a nicely balanced, creamy-textured mousse, whose red curranty ripeness lingers seductively on the tongue before dissolving into flavors that change from sweetly ripe to savory, ending on a nicely dry, tangy note. 91
