Michel Bettane: Deep color, very ripe on the nose, lots of body in a New World-like style, very round, lots of tannins and extract, needs aging, more spectacular than refined. 16

Thierry Desseauve: Dark garnet, blackberries and blueberries, toasty notes, powerful and elegant structure, silky tannins, absolutely brilliant. 16

Michael Schuster: Very ripe fruit plus new oak to smell; full in flavor, lively in acidity, a firm oak-tannin; plenty of ripe fruit here and good length to finish, but a tannic surround that will need several years to mellow. 2018–25. 15
