Neil Beckett: A very winsome premier cru, some of its charm due to the 20% fermented in wood (none new). Clean and ripe on both nose and palate, expressive of its warm site, but a smiley rather than a sunny wine, since there is enough density, intensity, and suavity of texture to prevent it wilting. Excellent overall balance. 17
