Michel Bettane: Excellent color and body, noble texture, evident length, superb expression of place. 17.5

Thierry Desseauve: Dark color, notes of cassis associated with mulberries, beautifully velvety body, freshness and length. Splendid wine. 18

Michael Schuster: Sweetly ripe nose; full-bodied, powerful, tannic wine; a mass of ripe fruit within a very firm tannin frame; seductive from the fruit on the one hand, bruising from the alcohol and tannin on the other. Potently impressive wine, and the first glass would be no problem… A second glass? Not so sure! 2020–35+. 16.5
