BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Luxuriously oaked, without masking a sensual and complete wine for the vintage. | 17.5

Michael Schuster | Ripe black fruit to smell, and clear new wood; a quite generous feel to the wine for the year, but with the 2013 freshness and the usual fine, slightly oak-dry tannin; a very nice ripe core of fruit, juicy, fleshy moderately complex, followed by a gentle, fragrant length. Not the usual scope and complexity, but this will be an attractive glass relatively early. 2018–30. | 16.5
