Michel Bettane: Nose recalling violets, velvety Merlot-like texture, seductive, and real Côte typicity. 17

Thierry Desseauve: Rich, well balanced, well made, typical, good St-Emilion of this vintage. 16.5

Michael Schuster: fine, ripe-fruit nose; full but elegantly balanced wine, very firm in tannin but with a complex core; nice length across the palate, excellent length to finish. Powerful wine, but it’s all there, in its 2009 potent style. Needs years to mellow though… 2022–35+. 16.5
