BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford | Dark, saturated black-red, just off opaque. Earthy, warm, and resonant aromas: lush black fruits and an autumnal smoky richness. A comforting forest or hedgerow glow here. Deep, vivid, and vigorous fruits on the palate, and fine concentration: a poised, lively wine in fresh, black- fruited style, with a long finish. That hedgerow richness is a little less apparent on the palate than in the aromas, and the vivacious, tightly squeezed and acid-structured vintage style takes precedence. An excellent effort for the mid term. | 91

Michael Schuster | Sweetly rich and oaky to smell; full-bodied, firmly tannic; deep and sweetly ripe, a bit marked by the new oak and alcohol combination, force and finesse, and good, slightly fiery length. Good wine in its powerful way. 2026–36+. | 91
