Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red to scarlet at the rim. Pure, fresh, serene, and lively: graceful, rounded fruits in singing style. Tender and almost artless... though very lovely. A pure-fruited thoroughbred, cantering away with mane waving and tail flying: gorgeously tender-ripe fruits rippling around the tongue in most seductive style. The tannins here are very fine and light and the acidity is deliciously subdued though expressive. It’s all about the fruit... but it’s hard to find better fruit than this in Pomerol in 2016. For the Burgundy lovers among you. | 93
Michael Schuster | Closed, faintly earthy, fruit-fragrant to smell; medium-full, fresh, finely tannic, a very nicely balanced mediumweight Pomerol; sweetly, freshly ripe in flavor, noticeably aromatic from its high proportion of Cabernet Franc, crisply juicy, long and gently complex to taste, and with a lovely fragrantly sweet persistence of aftertaste; classy, restrained, elegant Pomerol. 2024–40+. | 92
