Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A real stunner! The bouquet expresses the unmistakable nobility of the Latour terroir: red-berry fruit, grounded in a magnificent core of iron-like nuances (some will wax lyrical about the wine’s mineral quality)… Majestic body, firm tannins, fabulously honest—a real return to Latour’s roots, but with fiendishly precise tannin extraction. One of the pinnacles of the vintage. 19

Michael Schuster: Fine, subtle, mineral and cassis nose; very nicely balanced, concentrated, medium-full Latour, with a discreetly fresh acidity and a refined but firm tannin; a very sweet fruit of great purity, subtly mineral, close-grained, complex, and long across the palate, and with excellent, spicy length. A firm, linear, long-term wine, with its current typical Frédéric Engerer grace and polish. 2025–45+. 18.5/19
