Michael Schuster | Red-fruit ripe, gently gravelly Cabernet nose; full-bodied, freshly defined, moderately tannic; very nicely textured, relatively fleshy Haut-Bages, both juicy and refined in its ripe redcurrant fruit-core flavor, with a marked gravel aroma element; sapid, subtly Pauillac sinewy, and with a long, pebble-aroma’d finish. Excellent, complete Haut-Bages. This is very good, but will need time. 2032–42+.
