Michael Schuster | Strongly blackberry nose; full, fresh, finely but firmly tannic, well-balanced in a firmish style; a fine concentration of sweet fruit, long and pure to taste, a delicate complexity, nicely sustained and with very good, gently fragrant length. Stylish and complete, very good Dauzac, and very nice Margaux. Even better with just a touch less new wood? But here one can now taste the (delicious) wine rather than the winemaking frame. A very pleasant surprise. 2027–50+.
