Simon Field | A more spirited Xynisteri, its nose recalling Muscat by way of litchi, quinine, and soft grapey fruit; a stony mid-palate, closer now to a Loire Sauvignon, balanced acidity in support and the gentle dancing of an angelic dominion across the palate, far from unreceptive, the imagination of its fulcrum far away in the Mediterranean, a quiet village in the early evening. | 89
Andrew Jefford | Deep lemon steel-white. Clean lime fruit lent some floral intrigue; a gingery touch, too. Impressive aromas of real subtlety and complexity. On the palate, this is very taut and fresh (you’d never dream it came from the fierce solar bath of a Cypriot summer), retaining much of the aromatic complexity that was evident on the aromas. Bright, pungent, impressive, and highly attractive white wine: an indigenous classic kitted out in sexy modern style. | 90
Demetri Walters | A whole fruit salad here. Quite litchi-like on the nose, but altogether passion fruit and lime on the palate. A rich rendition, but very expressive and well balanced. Fresh, bold, and fun. Long. | 88
