Simon Field | Soft straw withatouch of green—a workmanlike example, not lacking for concentration or balancing acidity. Citric fruit, with poached pear and a hint of macadamia in support. For all that, there is a vacuum at the core, fruit evasive and unforthcoming. The paradoxical rigor required to achieve balance in such a hot climate sometimes sacrifices its finest benison! | 84
Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. Simple, rather torpid fruits in confectionary style. That’s for the aromas; but on the palate, this is a better wine, withataut, clean style, bright acidity and plenty of length and drive. It’s still the aromatic finesse that lets it down, but highly drinkable apart from that. | 85
Demetri Walters | Lots going on here. Ripe peach, litchi notes, passion fruit, but all in a delicate and restrained way. Nothing too bold or showy. Notable minerality and textural interest, too. Very drinkable. Really very good. | 91
