BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Garnet to lively ruby rim. Mature, slightly jammy nose, with mature red cherries and some minerals. Full body, with clean, mature red fruit. Good tannic structure yet a touch flat on the finish. | 89

Andrew Jefford | Quite a dark black-red, though translucent nonetheless. A bit of a fruit stew on the aroma; lots of compote red fruits in slightly volatile style. Exuberant and generous, with lots to enjoy, but with the sweet-and-sour style of the aroma and flavor it lacks some classicism and finesse. | 83

Michael Palij | Wonderful, haunting nose, with glorious notes of redcurrant, raspberry, damson, tobacco, hay, and acacia. Just as interesting on the palate, where the delicate red fruit and floral notes combine with great structure. The high acidity, tannins, and alcohol work seamlessly here to create a beguiling wine with power and balance. Should evolve into a most aristocratic wine. | 96
