Nicolas Belfrage | Very pale straw-yellow. Clean and fresh but not very developed nose; Roses hidden behind metal. Lemony and refreshingly dry, with a zesty finish and good length. This is the sort of thing the market is looking for in a good character Pinot Grigio: citric, floral, and not overstated. Great aperitif. | 92
Bruno Besa | Very pale straw. Clean, floral, delicate white- fruits nose, with hints of fresh herbs and acacia honey. Clean palate, with sweet, yellow plums and cooked apples; layered fruit. Long and fairly complex on the finish. | 91
Andrew Jefford | A sort of marrowy white-gold, which might seem very faintly pink under certain lights. Aromatically fresh and clean, though less giving than many; very faint notes of pear and ginger. Smooth, soft, and succulent palate of grand delicacy and teasing faint fruit (pear with a gingery edge once again). Beautifully balanced, with fine-grained, choice acidity: undoubtedly very good. It doesn’t quite hit the top scores, as you couldn’t call it a concentrated wine, but the subtle drinkable delicacy of it is so good that I almost despise myself for holding back on this basis. | 90
