Simon Field: The sole representative from 2013 does not disgrace either vintage or house; however, in such illustrious company, shortcomings are hard to avoid, and a far sterner critic may discern a dilute character and a somewhat hollow finish. That would be unfair but not entirely incorrect. | 85
Andrew Jefford: Dark, dense black-red, though with few tears or glints. Sweet, earthy, floral, and fresh: an attractive aromatic profile. There are relatively soft tannins here, but the fruit style is very attractive, much as the nose sketched out: lots of charm and intrigue, dense and pure, long and vapory. Hugely enjoyable young Vintage Port for the short to medium term. | 88
Richard Mayson: Deep, dark, and opaque, still open and wonderfully aromatic on the nose. A little raw around the edges, too; needs time to integrate. Firm berry fruit, still tight-knit, though not especially big, showing enough promise for the medium to long term. | 89
