This is a much less reductive wine than the 2017 tank sample from the same vineyard: clean, fresh, forthright, slightly lacking in contour and detail, but very pure, fine, and haunting. Elegant, fresh, lean, and clean, very seamless in terms of contour and with a sustained palate; vinous, long, and satisfying, yet as fresh and pungent as you like. | 90

Stephan Reinhardt | This is concentrated, but fresh, mineral, and pure on the bright and spicy nose. Firm and almost challenging in its astringency, this is a concentrated and full-bodied Chapelle, with a vital and crunchy finish and lots of salt. Far too young to drink with greatest enjoyment but very promising. | 93
