Stephen Brook | Juicy, swaggering, ripe citrus nose, withatouch of quince, too. Weighty and rich but not flabby or heavy-handed. There’s overt power on the attack, but ample extract on the mid-palate. This is allied to an almost creamy texture to give a satisfying mouthful of wine with some grandeur as well as typicity. Long. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Pale green-gold. Very planty, very bulb-like: a room full of hyacinths in the cruelest month. Just a little bit overt and obvious—some selected yeasts here? But if you like the vegetative-floral side of Sancerre, there is lots to enjoy here. I find this a bit too taut, tart, and hyacinth-like on the palate for much enjoyment, alas. | 82

Stephan Reinhardt | Wow, this Côte opens super-floral and refined on the nose, as if it were springtime. On the palate, this is a rather light, straight, fresh, and crunchy Sancerre, withatight but elegant structure and a good, still somewhat astringent/ tannic finish. Good freshness here. | 91
