BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Ruby to pink. Intense, exuberant black- fruits nose, with intense herbal character. Black cherries, road tar, and earthy nose. Medium to full body, with layered black and red fruit. Long and muscular finish. Very good effort for mid- term cellaring. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Deep-hued but clear and translucent now. Relatively simple, rough-cut cherry fruits, but pleasing. Lively, juicy, and fresh on the palate, with generosity and, in truth, rather more grain and subtlety than the aromatic profile suggested. Very sound and satisfying; a delicious drink. | 89

Michael Palij | Refined and elegant nose, with floral notes of wild rose and hawthorn allied to Victoria plum and strawberry. There is no obvious oak, and this allows the fruit to strut its stuff, which carries through to the palate, where the natural tannins and acidity play nicely together to create a seemly whole, with the fruit adding a judicious dollop of weight. Although this wine lacks concentration, it is otherwise perfectly formed. | 88
