Nicolas Belfrage: Cherry fruit coming through, fresh and clean, quite inviting. Plenty of fruit on the nose, raspberry with hints of herb. Drinking soon, should last reasonably well. 90

Bruno Besa: Dark garnet to ruby. Slightly closed nose, yet clean and complex, with tobacco leaf, cedarwood, morello cherries, orange marmalade, and fresh rosemary. Super-refined palate, with silky yet firm tannins, complex, mineral, spicy palate, with a long, clean, small-red-fruits finish. A class act that shows exactly what Sangiovese is all about. 95

Andrew Jefford: Deep, clear black-red. Ample fruited sweetness here and quiet toffee-apple charm. Not unattractive, but not the noblest scent on the table. Ripe and full, with relatively sweet fruits and ample depth and structure: impressive on the palate. A good wine that would merit a higher score still with a little more aromatic finesse. 88
