Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Intense color. Powerful but smooth. Not quite the finished article, but that is often the case with this cru, which needs another year. Obvious potential. Do not take any notice of the overzealous behavior of the Trading Standards/ Weights and Measures people. Tasted three times. | 92

Michael Schuster | Dense to smell, with a nice blackcurrant sweetness and just a hint of pine herbal; medium-full, freshly defined, finely tannic; red-fruit ripe, crisply sweet in flavor, generous overall, with a very nice richness to it, aromatic, quite complex, good length of flavor, the flavors lightened and lifted by their acidity, and with very nice lingering fruit persistence as well. 2025–37+. | 90–92
