BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Sure-footed finesse, guaranteed tannic nobility; harmonious wine, with good length, very typical of the estate. | 94

Michael Schuster | Freshly sweet cassis to smell alongside a subtle mineral; beautifully balanced red, an elegant, supple, very finely tannic mid-weight; sweet, fresh, graceful, long, and subtle, very fine in tannin; easy, gently minerally alongside the sweet red fruit, and with very nice length to finish. Again, as so with so many Pessac-Léognans in this vintage, not a big wine, but a classic restrained, fine Graves. All there and lovely. 2024–40. | 90–92
