Nicolas Belfrage | Deepish color. Pronounced aromatics, ripe cherry with some herb; quite voluptuous. Firm tannic structure, with good acidity, cherry berry fruit in good spread, pretty good length. Needs a little time, drink from 2020. | 90
Bruno Besa | Deep ruby to garnet. Open, intense, spicy nose, with a slightly farmyard character yet fairly complex and mature. Medium body, slightly unripe tannins, with red currants and cranberries on the finish. A young wine that still needs a few years’ aging. | 89
Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark garnet red. Lacks a little focus, but there is red fruit in the offing, as well as some darker aromatic notes—bay and chocolate. Vivid, fresh, and lively, with the high-sprung tones of the vintage: currant and light plum fruits, a bay sweetness, a little supporting tannin, medium length. A poised mid-term wine. | 86
