BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Ruby to garnet. Intense, clean, youthful, complex small red and black fruit, with plums and cherries and a refined, mineral, floral character. Balanced palate, with lively, clean, very sweet red fruit, and a long, complex finish. | 94

Stephen Brook | Piquant red-fruits nose, with lift and a light toastiness. Fresh attack, limpid and pure, with understated tannins. Deceptively reticent, as there is decent concentration and no lack of fruit. The acidity is discreet, too, but adds finesse and purity to the palate. No blockbuster, but well balanced and should age well. Long finish. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Deep glowing red. Earthy, warm, sweet, and full, with creamy depths: attractive and insinuating. Fine raspberry fruits lift from this, and there is incense spice, too. Refined and good. Ripe, exuberant, deep, generous, and giving, and the restrained acidity and almost succulent tannins make this a much easier wine to enjoy than many. Huge fun. | 90
