BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Garnet to tawny. Mature sweet fruit with smoked meat, small black and red fruits and hints of road tar. Medium body with clear fruit, a balanced finish with lively fruit. | 88

Stephen Brook | Refined and slightly tart redcurrant nose. Light, sleek, and lifted, a bit underpowered for Barolo, though it does have intensity of fruit and grip. But it doesn’t expand on the palate and seems short. Essentially simple. | 85

Andrew Jefford | Limpid, clear red in color. Warm, red fruits, though not a lot of finesse or precision. Smooth, soft, ripe, rounded; a broad-brush effort, but lacks focus and poise. | 86
