Stephen Brook: Broad nose, tinned peaches. Rich, rounded, more precision than nose, quite concentrated, just a hint of sweetness balanced by ample ripe acidity. This has some weight and depth and a long citric finish. 16
Jancis Robinson: First bottle: Rather stinky. Second bottle: Still very marked by sulphur. No fun at present. Dry and drying. 7
Alexander Scott: Very similar to Freiherr Heyl zu Hernsheim Nierstein Brudersburg Spatlese Trocken, but a shade more austere. Clings on at the end. This is concentrated and well made but just misses the boat for fine wine. 13.5
