Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Noble aromas of cedar. Oak in proportion even at this early stage. Powerful, dense and very tight, but not in the least austere. Tannins that are the very definition of a classical Bordeaux. Another great vintage. 18

Margaret Rand: Dense, concentrated stuff, with finely grained tannins. Polished and elegant, with a balanced finish. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Quite dense to smell, fresh red and blackcurrant. Medium-full, fairly concentrated wine with a fine, dry tannin. Lively, juicy ripe fruit, savoury, quite rich, moderately complex and clearly minerally. Refined, classic, dry red Graves. 16
