Alison Buchanan: Attractive pale-golden colour. This has an intriguing nose presenting honeyed nuts, white-flower character and delicate spice. There is complexity here that is reflected on the palate with honeyed, languid fruit, a silky texture and fat, creamed-nut contrast. Rather too warm, it appears just a slight tad flabby, though on the nose there was a piercing steely note that just failed to come through on the palate – possibly temperature. 14
Nicolas Belfrage: Light yellow straw. Some pungency on the nose and a bit more concentration; still not particularly special. 13
Alex Hunt: Bananas and creamy lees character on the nose, which leads to an expectation of a soft, textural wine. In fact, the palate is fairly aggressive, and there is an unwelcome alcoholic burn. A wine of some structure and weight, but not much composure. 13
