Tim Atkin: Pale straw. Graves-like, oak-influenced nose, with pronounced vanilla-pod aromas backed up by just enough citrus fruit. The oak is just a little too much on the palate, though it may recede with more bottle age. Still, a little too marked by timber for me 15

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 2. Something slightly bacony on nose. Not unattractive but not from the grape. Quite a complex flavour structure, with very good acidity and complexity on finish. Good length, real character 16

Alex Hunt: An intelligent use of oak and sulfide character to give a spark to the nose here. The balance is toward the softer side but works on its own terms. The flavors, however, are a bit indistinct and the finish blunter than many here 15
