Alison Buchanan: Attractive colour; very buttery crème brûlée nose. Not as bad as some, she said, damning with faint praise. Actually relatively well balanced, if not my style, on the overuse of oak. Stone fruit and apples, some mineral notes – bit dull, though. 10
Nicolas Belfrage: A rather simple wine that has fatness but not complexity. Seems constructed along New World lines. 13
Alex Hunt: A restrained, buttery, gently oaky style with good concentration and grip that loses its composure on the finish. 14.5
