Nicolas Belfrage: Expressive nose of cherry. Soft, attractive, quite concentrated palate, with the roundness tending a little towards jamminess but pulling up short. The acid/tannin structure saves it. Medium-long. 14.5

Stephen Brook: Fairly deep red. Vigorous nose of sour cherries and oak; herbaceous in an attractive way. Medium-bodied, with a fresh, silky texture, and well balanced. Ripe tannins behind the fruit - vigorous, almost peppery. Not extracted, and tastes like really good Chianti. Very enjoyable, and soon ready. 18

Alison Buchanan: Oaky, smoky, toasty nose of leather and spice, pepper and hot rubber. Very spiritous. Richly con centrated and textured. Medium concentration of dark chocolate. This is clearly low production/high concentration Parker style, but it's rather good at that. 16
