Nicolas Belfrage: Typical Sangiovese cherry character. Sour cherry is repeated on the palate, perhaps withatouch too much emphasis on the ‘sour’. Still, this has authenticity and character and would appeal to many. 14

Stephen Brook: Fairly deep red. Closed nose. Quite rich, supple, con centrated and chocolaty. Quite extracted, but the fruit itself is plump and ripe. Quite good length. 16

Alison Buchanan: Deep ruby-garnet. Closed on the nose - just burned rubber. Very concentrated. Quite dark black fruits and spice balanced by supple tannins and lively acidity. 16.5
