Stephen Brook: Lean, spicy nose withatouch of liquorice. Rich, rounded, accessible, but a touch thick and flabby, atypical Mosel; yet it does show acidity on the finish, giving better length than the attack promises, 16
Andrew Jefford: Pale water-gold. Sweet pear fruits; lacks complexity at this stage, though it turns on the floral charm. Bright and forthright style with vivid, pretty, crystal fruits; gentle mineral finish. Lots of grace and seduction here, and well over its ranking in must-richness terms. 15
Jancis Robinson: Strong mineral/earthy aroma on the nose that suggests, erroneously, that this could be a relatively dry wine. In fact, there is broad, ripe fruit and some mineral character on the palate; considerable refreshment factor. Lemons. Not especially intense. Drink 2007-15. 15.5
