Roy Richards: Deep red, but tawny penumbra. Huge, sweet nose, albeit more animal than fruit. This is better balanced than the '97, reminiscent of Tempier's Bandol Tourtine. Some coal dust and a not-disagreeable touch of Brett. Interesting. 16
