Nicolas Belfrage: Bright, some turn on rim. Somewhat inexpressive on nose. Very sweet and a bit dilute, medium-short finish, a bit candied; more like a Rosso, no great aging potential. 12
Roy Richards This is gentler, sweet spice, evolved – reminds me of those wines made without sulfur. Slightly high-toned and definitely pleasant with that qualification. Would I know it was Brunello? 14
Franco Ziliani: Rich, complex, very appealing Tuscan bouquet: black cherries, leather, mineral, earthy, grilled meat, black pepper, feral notes. Good intensity and depth and good elegance. The palate is supple, round, elegant, with soft tannins, excellent balance, good length and persistence. Very appealing and rich of savor now, with good ageing potential. 17
