Andrew Jefford | Clear black-red. Sweet, fresh, open, and refined though soft-contoured fruits. Great subtlety and restraint of expression here, yet complex nonetheless. Some satisfying vegetal notes, as well as the fruits. Lively, stealthy, fine-grained, and graceful on the palate, with beautifully teased, nuanced ripeness and poise. Classically sour-sweet Brunello fruits, owing nothing to winery handling and everything to the vineyard. Long, aromatically refined finish, whose energy continues to repose in those fruits. | 93

Anthony Rose | A comparatively pale ruby in color, with a pleasantly cherryish Sangiovese zing on the nose and some bright cherry Sangio on the palate, too; softly textured and juicy, for an accessible and authentic style, with concentration and complexity as an added bonus. Excellent! | 93
