Nicolas Belfrage: Very correct aromas and some tertiary character on palate but a bit dilute and short. Like it but don’t think it’s going far. Drink 2010 to 2015. 15

Roy Richards Meaty nose, this has some sweetness, but the dryness hangs loose. Ill-defined at present. 14

Franco Ziliani: Ruby violet, garnet color. The nose is sweet, overripe, round but lacks elegance and complexity, it seem too simple and too one-dimensional for a good Brunello. Good fruit, but no balance and freshness and the finish is dry and bitter. 12.5
