Bruno Besa | Garnet to pink. Closed nose, with lots of oak yet clean, with layered black and red fruit. Full-bodied, with clean, layered fruit and a long, mineral finish. A very young wine that needs a bit more time to show its best. | 90
Andrew Jefford | Limpid clear black-red. Some fresh oak here? At any rate, there is a vanilla note that works well with the attractively rich, plummy fruits. Boisterous, sweet-fruited wine in engaging contemporary style. Plenty oak, for sure. | 86
Anthony Rose | Impressively youthful ruby hue, and equally impressively intense aromatic complexity to match, more than a hint of spicy vanillin oak adding to the flattering international appeal; a very modern style of Brunello, with distinctly finely crafted oak supporting an attractive fruit purity in the most crowd-pleasing of styles. Still so vigorous and youthful that all that spicy oak may well benefit from a few years’ integration. Impressive nonetheless. | 93
