BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Pale color; fresh, zesty, Sauvignon nose; both rich and vigorous in constitution; dry, generous wine, very ripely flavored, but this ripeness is supported by a fine, firm acidity; a broad, quite fat style for the property’s white wine. Juicy, spicy, complex, discreetly oaky, full of both ripe fruit and very mineral aromas; Burgundian in its breadth, rich and linear at the same time. Pure, taut, aromatic, and with great length. Grand-scale Domaine de Chevalier white. 2018–35+. 18.5/19.5
